All practices for Tuesday are cancelled. Because 2 practices this week have been cancelled there will be no minimum requirement for this week's swim meet. Keep checking back this week since the weather seems pretty rough all week.
Due to weather, practices for 6&U, 7-8, and 9-10 are cancelled on Tuesday. 11&up will be evaluated closer to practice time. Because 2 practices have been cancelled this week, there will be no minimum practices required to be eligible for the meet this week.
There will be no practice on Monday May 30th for Memorial Day. Because of this shortened week only 1 practice will be required however; it is highly encouraged to attend 2 or more. We want our Redfish to hit the pool prepared for each swim meet and the way to…
The plan for today:
1. Have a chat with kids about meet stuff this weekend. Let them get used to the buzzer sound
2. Let them swim a little to get used to how cold water may be tomorrow because meet is on regardless of water temp.
Pool has not warmed up and grass is still too soggy for dry land practice. ALL practices for Thursday are cancelled. Enjoy your evening "off". See you back in the pool tomorrow.
From Coach Erin: There will be no practice for 8 and under because water temp is barely 72 and the dry land area is saturated. Waiting to see conditions closer to 9 and up practices before making that call
This chilly weather made the pool a bit too cold. Coach Erin is having dry land practice for 8&U and in water for 9&up.
